Capacity Building

The Capacity Building goal is to promote an effective and quality delivery system for young children and their families. More than $2.1 million of the Commission budget was allocated to Capacity Building programs in Fiscal Year 2015/16, as well as $242,231 in catalytic investments.

Capacity Building programs leverage resources with other national and state programs, facilitate best practices among grantees, and prioritize those areas where there is a unique need among Orange County’s youngest children. Research and development, evaluation, and support services that promote effective delivery systems for child and family services are included in the Capacity Building goal area.screen-shot-2016-12-07-at-2-49-29-pmscreen-shot-2016-12-07-at-3-00-15-pmscreen-shot-2016-12-07-at-3-00-28-pm
