The Early Learning programs provide early education opportunities for young children to maximize their potential to succeed in school. The Commission’s investments include programs and services for early literacy and math education.
The School Readiness program is a partnership between the Commission, the Orange County Department of Education and the county’s 25 school districts with kindergarten programs. The program funds School Readiness Coordinators in each school district to work with school staff, families, community stakeholders, and the early care and education community to ensure all children are healthy and ready to learn when they enter school.
